Initially, the work features a white sheet of paper. Within its dimensions coloured pieces of masking tape, which serve as the basis for an abstract graphic, can be placed by the user. Subsequently, a mechanical arm reacts to the user's input by operating freely within the space which was created.
The drawing arm is based on the proportions of the human body and is therefore likewise restricted in its drawing capability. It masters curved and dynamic lines effortlessly while geometrical and
"computer-style" forms are a challenge. The device therefore occupies an inspiring sphere between man and machine, as it sometimes becomes irritatingly human. Programmed arbitrariness and fabricated coincidence.
