With first year architectural students we made a small workshop about the basic theory of perspective and investigated ways to materialise general rules of geometric distortion well known from CAD-Software. The point of view, projection and the human perception in space were theoretical starting points for brainstormings and led to simple ways of illustrating basic rules in three-dimensional space.
