In this semester we dealt with the analysis and visualisation of oscillation and frequencies. A generative, mechanic Lissajous-machine was created and built together with the students using a CNC lathe. Every step of the process was conducted by the students – including milling, assembly and analysis of the produced oscillation-graphics. The experience and knowledge created in the process was afterwards used for the construction of the end-product – a big “harmonograph”.
