studio milz was commissioned to create a generative work about water and its physical states to enrich the Aquarius’ winter exhibition 2012. The piece cold plate makes water molecules condense at its steel body and builds ice crystals with a cold shock period. After creating a field of unique crystal ornaments, a heating period unfreezes the white creation. The pattern morphs into drops of water which start to abandon the plate like rain drops out of a cloud. After a while the process repeats itself.
