WEDGED WALL MIRROR

A substantial block of mirror-polished stainless steel is wedged into the assembly using a distinctive wood joint that reflects its own form in the very mirror it supports. The prominent positioning of this joint blocks the mirror's function as a wall piece but thereby adds an intriguing aesthetic dimension to its connection, creating a unique interplay between form and function.
A plate made of recycled plastic connected to another wedge, forming a harmonious assembly. This floating tableau, in tandem with the cantilevered wooden components, not only exemplifies aesthetic elegance but also offers the possibility of further use as hooks and shelves. A limited edition of 10+2AP bespoke pieces crafted in the studios atelier in Berlin.

The objects and furniture series are inspired by and utilize leftover materials from our studio's larger projects. They not only feature the same materials but also utilize unique joinery techniques and details specific to these projects, serving as object-based documentation pieces.
